Rob Donnelly

Rob Donnelly, Founder and Managing Partner, is an investor and entrepreneur with over twenty years of private equity, investment management, corporate board, and operational experience. Former roles include principal investing, portfolio management, and executive management across real estate, private equity, and venture capital.

In 1999, he was a founding Principal of Genesis Park, a Houston, Texas-based private equity and real estate fund that invested across a diverse range of industries and structures. The fund was backed by a network of Texas-based family offices and Rob worked closely with both in-house and Limited Partner teams on a variety of investment strategies and portfolio companies. Over the course of it’s ten-year life, the fund delivered an 8.1x money multiple and gross IRR of 26% on invested capital.

Rob remains active in real estate spanning commercial, hospitality, and residential projects. Understanding economic cycles and exercising discipline are core tenets to his approach to risk management and preservation of capital.

In 2014, Rob formed EB5 & Company (originally Texas Regional Investment Center) in order to better serve foreign families in securing US Residency by investing in quality real estate projects.

He graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science degree and from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a MBA in Finance. Rob is a third-generation Irish immigrant and resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and three daughters.
